The French Defense is no longer playable.

Not only was the French Defense played in the first game of the recent World Championship match, Fabiano Caruana said in his commentary video on that game that the current state of theory at the top level is that the French Defense is in excellent shape. You claim that the French is completely unplayable, but the game that you provide to demonstrate that this is the case is a game where MVL is destroying a 2600. I'm not exactly convinced.
