  1. it's a group photo and it's already good that everyone is in the frame.

  2. it's probably a photo taken with a phone and not everyone has an Honor or a latest Samsung to have the help of AI to take a very sharp photo

  3. apart from the illuminated trapezoid on the left side, the lighting is correct.

nevertheless, next time, you can benefit the community by coming with your SLR camera, your lamp, a tripod so that everything will be - very good - for your eyes !

Above all, I think that by playing too much at finding Charlie, we've forgot to mention that Lichess blogs allow a limited image size, which probably explains this.

it does not explain anything. did you look at some of the old meetup blogs? clearly they can at least sometimes manage to have an acceptable group photo.
i don't understand this one at all. not only because i could take a better photo on a potato, but also: why didn't they simply take a second, better one? you take one look at this and go: alright, nice try, let's go again.
