Repertoire Builder v1.0

Now if you could team up with someone like openings101.org to have a few basic repertoires on your site to start with it could be even more exciting.

Without content it will be difficult to compete with chessbook or noctie.ai...

Hi,
there are many repertoire templates available in the Repertoire Builder. Here is an example: I just added the Catalan Opening with >700 moves.

PS: I love Noctie too!

I have created 100+ opening templates as a starting point, and also have a Repertoire Wizard functionality to help kickstart your repertoire from any position, so hopefully that would be useful for those newer to repertoire building.

I am going to have to try out this Noctie, I have heard it mentioned so many times, so will give it a try this weekend.

I did not know about openings101.org, thanks for sharing that with me. Alas, there is no contact information on the site, would you happen to know more about who created this so I can get in touch?

No, sorry! I have no idea who created this site and why? I just used it as an example.

But it looks like member https://lichess.org/@/openings101_org knows more.

Also I don't know whether this post from 2018 has something to do with it or whether it's coincidence:

I am always looking at possible partners and integrations.

Have been trying this builder for some time and I am impressed with the ease of use and the constant features being added. As someone else mentioned, it would be tricky for to import all the existing opening files into this only to see it being truncated with the paid tier model. I believe "Lichess" is an exception in the Chess universe that is truly dedicated to Chess enthusiasts.

As an ICCF correspondence player, I have really appreciated the integration of the game library, game analysis features, and the repertoire tools. I can very easily see my repertoire variations and repertoire comments/notes and pull them into my ongoing games. The integration of the ChessDB.cn tree (including ability to submit positions directly from the analysis page) is a big asset for reviewing games as well as for reviewing the repertoire variations themselves. I think this is the most comprehensive set of tools for managing and building out an extensive repertoire. I am looking forward to seeing how the training tools are refined and expanded further. The existing tools for opponent prep on CBM are very helpful. Plans for full integration of opponent prep with the repertoire builder look very promising.

It looks beautiful, I still need to explore all features. Couple things I couldn't find: if there is a possibility to export an repertoire as a PGN file? And on Firefox some Chinese letters are not available, but that's probably on my side. 將
