My name is Heather Richards and I am board 3 for the 2026 Australian Women's Chess Olympiad Team.

Today, for round 7 of the 46th Chess Olympiad, the Australian Women’s Team has been paired against Israel. I was due to play this round, having rested the previous round.

But I do want to note, what is on the flag of the country that is occupying a well recognized Palestine before World War 2?

No idea if you know what point you're actually trying to make but the answer is the star of david.

The term Palestine is literally synonymous with Jewish history and identity which is why the nascent state of Israel was using it everywhere on documents and names of national bodies. (e.g. Palestine Orchestra, Palestine Airways}

It was later hijacked by the Arab movement even though the Arabs come from Arabia and cannot even pronounce the letter P in Palestine, there's only F in Arabic.

Oh is that why the Judeo-Christians are fearful of socialism, China, Iran, Russia, and Sharia Law?

The point I am making is exactly what you exposed. Halakha is a separate body of law. Staunch Zionists like to joke about Muslims wanting halal prepared food. In their minds kosher is better than halal. If Palestine was even used in a synonymous way, then why the need to replace it? Why the need for all these Russian Jewish descendants to change their last names into Hebrew?

David Ben‐Gurion – Born David Grün in Płońsk, Poland (then Russian Empire). Changed to Ben‐Gurion (“son of the lion cub”) before becoming Israel’s first prime minister

Moshe Sharett – Born Moshe Shertok in what is now Ukraine; adopted Sharett after Israel’s independence

Levi Eshkol – Born Levi Shkolnik; chose Eshkol (“cluster of fruit”)

Yigal Allon – Born Yigal Peikowitz; Allon means “oak tree” in Hebrew

Shimon Peres – Born Szymon Perski in Poland; adopted Peres upon arriving in Palestine

Ehud Barak – Born Ehud Brog; changed to Barak (“lightning”)

Benjamin Netanyahu – Born Benjamin Mileikowsky; his family adopted Netanyahu (“God has given”) after immigrating from Poland

Yitzhak Shamir – Born Yitzhak Yezernitsky in Belarus; adopted Shamir (“hard stone”)

Ariel Sharon – Born Ariel Scheinerman; adopted Sharon (“mountain”)

Golda Meir – Born Golda Mabovitch, later Meyerson; simplified her name in political life

If you want to switch from Yiddish to Hebrew, that magically makes you a Middle Easterner? Wow, can I go to Europe then, change my name to Hans or Franz and then take over a European country of my choice? Right, I am basically synonymous with Europeans as my lineage started there.

If we pump each other up, let's tell more jokes. If not, where is the equal representation you failed to answer? It is 100% Jewish with zero recognition of Christianity or Islam. Any dissenters are swiftly kicked out the Knesset and you know it. Their law doesn't allow for equality. Either you support a Jewish state and yell "Death to Arabs" while waving the Israeli Zionist Nazi flag, or you get removed. Ben Gvir has taught you well Zionist padawan.

FREE CYPRUS from genocidal Turkic invaders! @Kaan_Burak

Bro we aren't invaders. North Cyprus is an independent nation, they are just our sibling nation.

Well said, and well done! Free Palestine!

Dear clueless French person, Palestine is already free - it's called Jordan. Thank you for your support.

What do you mean? Jordan is a different country from Palestine.
Edit: Also, I don't care if you downvote me or not. I'm just supporting the right people.
