@nacho4191 That is some hilarious digging. I'm picturing some bizarre crime detective show now where they solve it by comparing the chess openings people play. Amazing find.

Lets just be brutally honest here. I have not read all of this and neither have I even bothered to watch any of the videos in question. The simple fact is that if you have something great, you are going to do everything you can to prove it (live). So if they are not willing to have people from the chess community (reputable people) come and test the product LIVE then well they have no interest in proving what the product can really do and that is a massive red flag in general.
So until they can stop being so defensive and just prove what they say they can do, its a no from me dog! :)

His point is that morality is subjective, and gives someone the impression that they can use any mean to achieve the "moral" goal. He's not wrong about that.
It's the comparison of this blog post, warning chess players about something large chess websites have overlooked, to crimes against humanity, that is far fetched.

@CubesAndPi
just study a bit of history
even the english and spanish land robbing criminals needed some sort of justfication. The Spaniards are a bit more complicated, because knew they that they were doing evil. The english "settlers" (sounds familiar?), said that God had given the land to the red indians, but that they did not make use of it in a god given way.So they had to take it away from them.

Good thing about Mensa is that they never disclose information of their members publicly. That's why I'm also a member. Anyone else?

Thibault is right. Why are we talking about history here, @kokkko ?
The idea here is simple. Pretty much all of Regium’s actions point towards this being a scam. So all we are doing is trying to make sure as few people as possible fall for it. If that means that Regium’s reputation has to suffer, then so be it. They should have been a lot more careful, even if they do actually have a working prototype.
