I have found one other thing - modestly thinking that the guy might be hard enough to get the anti-promotion before coming out with all the solenoid that he managed to put there :) and just wanted to draw bigger attention of press and forums :), but no - he would gain more with being truthful
The power adapter that was used looks like an overrated power adapter with a transformer - not nowadays impulse adapter and the plug doesnt look like usb plug but a 5.5/2.5 mm plug

Also compare the plugs at the board end in the original video with the "classic" board and in the "FAQ" video with the luxury board: two different types of plugs it seems, one is flat, the other round.
