O well that's me out.
I would still argue that time-spent-per-move is a huge factor in correspondence chess.
As a simple example; I had a puzzle challenge on chessdotcom with a known real-life person who was easily +200 OTB relative to me. I managed to get to 2200* whilst my opponent could only manage 1900, +300 to me! The difference was time-spent on the puzzles, amounting to +500 elo difference in expected performance in total. That's the sort of difference that can occur in correspondence chess.
When I played correspondence I would give more credence to an opponents' puzzle rating than their elo - only in a negative sense, i.e. if it was low with a decent number of tries they were very unlikely to be a strong middlegame player, if it was high you couldn't determine anything.
- I actually stopped at 2200 because there was an increasing level of underrated puzzles - i.e. there would be an 'obvious' move but also counterplay, took 10 to 20 minutes to work out the threat only to find it was safe to play the 'obvious' move as a result the puzzle would be underrated as lower level players wouldn't consider the counterplay in the first place.

I have recently gotten into and I love playing correspondence chess, but one thing that struck my eye was that when I click on an opponent of mine's profile they always have about 15-30 games on at once. Why is this? I know it is their choice but to me it kind of looks like it defeats the purpose of correspondence. Do they fall into the trap of starting a game, it is completely winning, but their ...
I played 100 games at a time and in future when my exams will be over i will start 200 games at a time
It a other kind of fun for me
Cause sometimes my opponents blunder and i sees it

In the ICCF World Championship Finals they play 14 games at a time.

In the ICCF World Championship all participants are using engines, whereas on Lichess and Chess.com engines are prohibited. I played two ICCF games against a top opponent some time ago and spent 2 days on one game and 3 days on the other one. (E...

I play mostly cc. I like to play one move per day time control. Play enough games to keep me busy, maybe 15-20 games.
Probably the amount of time I spend on each game is similar to a classical. Maybe I complete 2-3 games per day. I use the analysis board all the time. I find that helps my middle-game skills. I play enough real-time to keep my rating up.
Another thing you can do is work on a thinking method, with supports, that can be carried over to your real time play.
I remember playing a guy on a cc site years ago who had 200 games going. Probably he was playing at blitz or even bullet speed. Why not? It's all chess.
Don't knock it until you've tried it.
:)

What happens (to me) is that you sign up for a tournament, play your games and wait a long time for the next round to start because some play really s l o w: 2 s l o w players and an 80 move games takes 240 days!
so you sign up for anther tournament & same thing happens
...
eventually next rounds start happening and suddenly you have 30 games in 6 different events.

Sir is the registration free . We will have to play through that site ?
If every one is using the same engine it imposible to lose but if people use different engine there is a possibility , which engine do you prefer,
If there is a draw in the finals how is the Campion decided .
