Based on elo rating Fischer would have won 10 to 7 with 17 draws.
Karpov himself said Fischer would have won in 1975. Korchnoi thought so too.
As far as I can tell, neither was in a position to know what Fischer had been doing 1972-1975.
The only thing we can be sure of is that we'll never know.
