Rarely, ever since I went from 5+3 to 3+0.
How would I know? Would I get a notifictaion. But I can 1+0 is not a good format for cheaters.
I rather don't think about it! If I would constantly think my opponent might cheat, I would just play worse and not motivated.
Maybe 1% of games.
3+2: I had to go back 85 games to find a closed account (who may or may not have been a cheater) in my game history, and 154 to find one I know for a fact was a cheater (because I got a refund).
They didn't feel like cheaters to me, but the one 154 games ago got banned very soon after playing me (I just thought I got outplayed by someone 200 points stronger). I've played two obvious cheaters in the last ~2 months (600 games): I reported both, and they got banned within an hour.
Noboy knows the answer to that question, nobody knows how many players cheat, are they cheating the whole game ? Are they cheating for just a few moves, in the endgame only etc, there even might me cheaters who you may have beaten on time etc, nobody knows
It's known by common sense though that almost all people never even think of cheating
