How to study Endgames correctly and with fun

How to study Endgames correctly

Ditch the fun?

and with fun

oops.

Google tells me about "list of endgame chess books that can build upon each other":

Level 1: Foundations & Rating-Based Progress: "Silman's Complete Endgame Course" by Jeremy Silman

Level 2: Essential Practical Theory: "100 Endgames You Must Know" by Jesús de la Villa

Level 3: Strategic Mastery & Planning: "Endgame Strategy" by Mikhail Shereshevsky

Level 4: Advanced Reference & Calculation: "Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual" by Mark Dvoretsky

For me personally it would be pointless as any composed chess position needs computer proof from a clearly identified mainstream tool anyway, see https://www.wfcc.ch/software/ (but these tools are probably completely useless for practical play).

i heared from you guys, 'study endgames' 'master endgames' 'study Endgames first' but how? all endgames study i see is boring and long, if you have a suggestion, dont hesitate
Maybe should i buy Silman complete endgame book?

It's like you never heard of "100 Endgames You Must Know" by de Villa.

That book is absolutely in your wheelhouse and is the only endgame book you can recommend. It's as close to step-by-step instruction on the most important and frequent endgames you will encounter during club play. You really do not need any other book right now.

De La Villa Garcia is neither complete, nor correct.

Love to know where de La Villa got it wrong, outside of typographical errors.

"100" does not claim to be complete. It's aim is to give you are scaled down version of endgames that all players should know down to 100 positions. Naturally things will need to be left out because of obscurity. Kinda like complaining your opening book on the Sicilian Defense does not include the Petroff.

:)
