It's not an infinite amount of time; a player simply needs to switch it to "off" for the timer to start running again.
So player A can switch it on when it's their turn, then player B will immediately switch their switch off until player A plays, when player B switches their switch on and A switches theirs off. It does nothing.
It only happens if both switches are on.

Exactly. That's why it does nothing. Both switches are never on.
***Exactly.*** That's why it does nothing. Both switches are never on.

Where is the error in the switch configuration?
Are you actually that lazy that you can't even be bothered to look at the AI slop you generated? It shows the exact opposite of what you described, which anyone with at least one functioning brain cell can see instantly.
First of all, I didn't create it using AI, but by hand with a graphics program (I only used AI for the image of the two chess players). Also, the logic of the image is correct: if both switches are on, time stops; in all other cases, time flows.

The two players simply need to both press "on," and the two switches will be turned on.

Are you saying that once a player turns their switch on, they can't turn it off?

Oh, ok, so you only created 99% of it using AI. Same thing.
Also, the logic of the image is correct: if both switches are on, time stops; in all other cases, time flows.
So you're saying "on" means paused? That's not what most people would think when they think "on." In either case, the idea is stupid. If both players need to pause for the clock to be paused, then either player could resume when the other is afk, as has already been mentioned. If the clock is paused when at least one player has it paused, then either player can simply pause the clock indefinitely. If you want to play without a clock, then just play correspondence.

Stai dicendo che una volta che un giocatore accende il suo interruttore, non può più spegnerlo?
Of course, you can turn it off and on whenever you want; it follows the rules of Boolean logic.

A player cannot decide to pause on their own; the game pauses only if both players agree.
