Of modern players it would be Vincent Keymer, when he’s locked in he plays quite well.

Of former players it would be Karpov, his style of play as well as the stories with his games are really fun and are what got me to really dive deeper into chess.

My favourite GM would have to be GM @DJ_Haubi since we have played each other 91 times (he won 81 of those games) mostly in my Crazyhouse team battles. Always a gentleman and a good sport.

My favourite GM would be GM Paul Motwani, Scotland's first Grandmaster who lived in Brussels at the time I took group lessons from him with other Belgian kids. He's an amazing teacher, mathematician and he wrote incredible books (S.T.A.R. Chess, COOL chess, HOT Chess, Chess under the microscope etc,...) Everytime we solved one of the puzzles he gave us, he threw candy at us, which might have contributed to us kids liking him so much xD

Vladimir Kramnik
Nice guy, and I followed the match in Elista 2006, where he beat Topalov. The first champion after Kasparov to become the only World chamion. It was a great match, despite the toilet incident.
