@shadow1414 Have you tried to answer the op's question or are you not using your brain to answer it.
Hey everyone, I'm not sure if this is considered spamming since it's relevant to the topic, but if anyone here struggles with chess variants, I have a team to help with that. I've been trying to get members but so far it's not going very well So, if anyone here considers themselves needing assistance, please consider joining. I think if I put the link here, I'll get reported anyway, so for those who would like to join, please go to my profile and click on the team link there. The team's name is Chess Variants with Newbies. Thank you - it means a lot of you would join my team!!

Here's the team link too, just in case some people on here don't want to report me: lichess.org/team/chess-variants-with-newbies
Please don't report me, I'm just trying to help out some people. FYI, we do deal in standard chess too.
960 is my favorite variant. The different beginning position creates immediate vulnerabilities and opportunities. Moves are spontaneous, removing rote memorization of openings and of countermoves.
Just tried Horde for the first time yesterday. Seems like good practice for endgames trying to promote a pawn or to prevent the opponent from promoting.
The only other variant I've tried so far is Antichess.
