• If all opponents would play the Englund Gambit, then I would always open 1 d4.

the england gambit is pretty easy. they cant take back just yet, and you can just play e4 and get some evil doubled pawns in the center and fast track development.

For me, the Pirc because I suck at positional games. It's the same boring set up everytime and I don't know howto attack.

try the austrian attack, it cramps black and puts heavy pressure on them if you can play the offensive
