App stores only allow one app per service, the old app was maintained by a volunteer whereas the new one is built first-party by lichess. Therefore it doesn't make sense nor is it possible with vendor's rules to maintain two separate apps

Lichess really made a big mistake by not just simply replacing the old app in an update. There should never have been two Lichess apps in the app store, where the new app has very few downloads and reviews compared to the old one.

well i don't use a phone but make an iso version but not in the app store cause they take your money

I still have the og one but thibault cant you just make that new app a bit more smoother the old one is faster cuz I have stockfish 18 on it
