Repetiton counting (wrong counting)

As per the technical part, fiveFoldRepetition is enforced here: https://github.com/lichess-org/scalachess/blob/57d3483869abde8a7dbd867520fe78f8f7e87d79/core/src/main/scala/History.scala#L19

Look at @tpr explanation above:

  • 3 fold repetition draw has to be claimed (can be automatic in Lichess)
  • 5 fold repetition draw is automatic and enforced by the arbiter

Thx, understood it's coded in the boolean variable.
Could you show me a lichess game where it states 5times rep - draw?
I would have expected my game to be classified 5rep/draw.

From what I understand there have been problems with importinf those 3/5 repetition games in the analysis? Though I am not sure if thats still the case, c.p. https://lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/importing-a-5-fold-repetition-game

The term 5-fold repetition never surface in the user interface.

Whatever the way the game was stopped (look at my videos above) it is always called 3-fold repetition.
