Well, AI slop is probably getting horrible everywhere, but I notice it more on YouTube. It seems like all of the thumbnails are AI generated. (no effort, I guess.) Also, more and more of the videos turn out to be AI slop.

I just saw one that takes the cake. It was a video about type 2 diabetes. Of course, the thumbnail looked like AI, but I clicked on the thumbnail anyway. Turns out it was a 17 second video created by AI. ---- 17 friggin' seconds! What kind of significant message can be delivered in 17 seconds? lol

And in case anyone is wondering, no, I didn't watch it...

AI slop is getting horrible everywhere. Most ads I see are AI. Most videos I see are now AI (You can literally see that AI is actually improving and making better, less mistakes, content). Some songs are AI. Even merchandise designs can be AI generated.

Occasionally the odd AI video is actually very good to be fair, however, i personally would prefer a real person in the video in question, even if they don't know every fact about the subject. :)

Every AI slop ad represents multiple actors who lost their job, sound editors, videographers, video editors, studios - a whole myriad of people who lose work to save the bottom line of a massive corporation

There is no point in making AI generated slop on yt yet like every ad and lots of video's are made but it. (I wouldn't know cuz my whole video feed is minecraft stuff basically.) PEOPLE NEED TO STOP BEING LAZY AND ACTUALLY DO SMTH. I'd rather the video was lower quality and actually done by a human who put effort into it than some stupid AI with the boring voice. People are constantly lying by making a full AI video and at the end saying "I put lots of effort into these video's so please subscribe" EVEN THE VOICE AT THE END IS OBVIOUSLY AI LIKE BRUH. this needs to stop

Sadly, I don't think the AI slop is going to stop; If anything, it's going to get worse. About all we can do is try to ignore it as much as we can.
