I like to keep you guys safe.
So this concerns veterans health care ( gotta look out for my fellow vets, brothers in arms you know)
So anyway a message shows up ( your veteran health care team needs to verify your details )
First thing I check is the area code,purports to be from the Chicago area and I'm in Southern Arizona so why would they want my info ( in case you don't know false telephone numbers are marketed on line ,so don't believe everything you see) .
Then I check Google and yes it is a scam, don't click on it per recommendation.
When you come across scams please mention it in the forum if you wouldn't mind.
If you get anything along these lines I highly encourage you to verify and protect yourself.
Btw in case you don't know the government will never contact you via the Internet,they will send you a physical letter .
Anyways be safe,be vigilant and don't fall for scams, quite often they employ fear tactics or greed ( lol, you've won a contest you never entered )
As. far as the Internet and messages,trust nothing, verify everything and if it sounds too good to be true

I get like 15 scam calls a day I just ignore them

No why would I tell you my age and i barely know you
some other scams are that there’s something wrong with your account, unpaid ticket, unpaid bill and worst of all when a hacker manages to get you to click on a link that has a virus attached. a little later a message comes up on your screen saying you’ve been infected. haven’t seen that one in a while.
