Ok, I‘m really upset to have to ask this, but you don‘t believe the earth is flat, do you?
I‘ll respond afterwards.

Well, it depends on the animal. Mice, for instance, are obviously much smarter than humans, since they are superintelligent pandimensional beings, as everyone in the galaxy knows.
maybe they even know the reasoning behind the answer 42...

Which would explain why reality is so strange...

What if I told you "flat earth" theory was made up to stop you from thinking outside of your control box? It works like this. Whenever an idea outside of your control box is exposed to you those who wish to control you restate the idea and then say, "And furthermore, the earth is flat". Now, whenever you hear a new idea your tiny little human mind associates it with "flat earth" and your thought process is terminated.
What if I told you that that is entirely wrong and that there‘s no one trying to control you, unless you live in certain countries like North Korea
If you are interested in this idea and wish to hear more about how stupid humans are controlled like little robots I recomend reading the field of CYBERNETICS. They have such wonderful works with disgusting titles such as "The human use of human beings", "God & Golem," "The Essential Psycho", "Beyond Dispute: The Invention of Team Syntegrity" and so forth.
No I‘m not interested in conspiracy theories, thank you very much.
May I ask, do you believe in science? How do you get you mind around how they keep changing their claims abou the nature of reality? Even just the last 100 years of 'science' has been a wild ride.
Oh, it‘s very easy, it‘s like a game of poker. Every time that a new card is flipped, the chances change. Science is a calculation of what reality is the most realistic based on your current knowledge and observations.
The fact that it has changed so much over the years just goes to show how much knowledge we‘ve gained.
If we really were „dumb“ or „unintelligent“ like you claimed we wouldn’t be able to gain and interpret information in this way.

You know what also harms the climate? Cows.
Humans harm the climate significantly more than cows.
Animals and humans are words made by humans.
Sure, I guess. Animals do not speak our language and have their own language. They can still have a similar thought but in a completely different way of saying it.

You think the field of cybernetics is a conspiracy theory? lmao. Here, read. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybernetics
I think you might just be the dumbest human I've had a conversation with on lichess. And you claim to be smarter than my chickens. I think we're done. I tried my best to spark a little light in your brain.
Oh thank you very much I really appreciate your kind and respectful words. However I must say that I‘m sorry since I took it how it sounded and not looked it up. If it is something else (I don‘t know what and I don‘t care what, I believe in what I can see and not more and not less is science) then I truly am sorry for my hasty aggressive speaking. However I‘ve at least tried to stay respectful instead of calling you straight out dumb and believe me I could’ve with good reason called you ignorant at the very least.

I will say that although humans may be "the most intelligent species on the planet" we certainly do worse things to our planet than any other species. It does not seem intelligent to me; maybe there are different types of intelligence, like an IQ sort of intelligence versus an awareness of the consequences of our actions. The problem is that we have broken out of the system of checks and balances, and don't seem to understand that now we have to check and balance ourselves...
