Besides where you were born,
I choose Ireland, or Sri Lanka... I love islands!:)
Sri Lanka?
Visiting it? All well and good.
Being born there? Not so much...

If a habitable zone planet exists in the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri, I'll go there. It has two stars similar to the Sun and a third star, Proxima Centauri.
But not Proxima b, its star flares too much.

Why pick the closest , especially a trinary system which is a lot less likely to have stable zones - when we're talking light years you're already ridiculously far away

Australia would have been my choice just a few years ago. But it's starting to feel a bit like Canada, from a distance. And that's not a good fit for Noflaps.
It's still hard to beat France. There is no finer place on Earth to bicycle, for example.
And the food is great.
And a skinny young man like me (don't contradict me, I'm imagining a future!) can live without air conditioning.
Yeah, France it will be. So long as there's room where I live for the spaniel. A man doesn't leave his spaniel behind.
I think the spaniel would be pleased with a chateau on the Med.

Why do you always reference yourself in the third person instead of "I" to start, then switch to "I" for the remainder of the post?
