you need to look in all six directions.
forward. back. to the left. to the right. up. down.
This is not a tip for the driving license, just a tip in general.
Dont speed. Dont test your luck.
It only takes 1 mistake. I was lucky enough, or skilled enough to avoid the mistake, thats why Im here today, else, I wouldnt.
Dont learn the wrong way like I did.

I am about to take my driving test. Do any of y'all have any experiences or input on what I need to do to pass the test to earn my learner's permit?
Here's a real question.
Are you taking the test in India?
In the UK thesedays it's best to be the equivalent of a NASA engineer in order to pass both tests.
It was bad enough when i passed 30 years ago.
Way back in the 70s when people were taking the test the prerequisite for passing the driving test was basically if you can get in and out the vehicle, but now it's just ridiculous the knowledge one must have and the cost of both the written test and the actual driving test its self. And i have read that allegedly these test centres get quotas of how many people can pass in a certain time frame thats been set out, which i find disgusting if it's true. :)

Simple; drive.
@Mrchess78 , a larger government is a more costly and intrusive government.
Many in the U.S. now wish to learn that the hard way, apparently, since socialism and even communism have become more fashionable. Giggle.
I hope that the experienced adults will prevail in America's midterms. But I am not counting on that. Nowadays, rich, inexperienced kids are all the rage, as long as they look good and can convince others that those others are not really the masters of their own fate.
Even as recently as the year 1900, England was the most powerful, affluent nation on Earth. That merits reflection.

Yes, it's a very sad state of affairs, Well atleast the electric car idea the powers that be have tried to force on us has lost it's charge more than somewhat!, plus the infrastructure doesn't support it anyway, in part because electric vehicles are so heavy that if everyone suddenly drove them, the bridges etc would apparently be structurely compromised from what i've read.
The utter stupidity of everything nowadays is so blatantly obvious, one wonders why our so called leaders do this nonsense, well if one follows the money it becomes clearer,
Central banking systems who only lend to massive companies not small businesses which explains alot, it's like a manufactured boom and bust on a global scale.
When you say "so-called leaders" please be careful.
It's not all of them, innit?
Just those that sound crazy.
Many do. But fewer are noticing, unfortunately. There are a lot of really bad politicians, nowadays.
But Churchill tended to get things right. Not always. But mostly.
I'm not fond of positions that don't seem Churchillian
But then, I'm not a tyke.
And I'm not the only non-tyke. Thank you, to those who don't just join the silly modern choir.

It seems we're at or near the point of civilizational collapse which has happened to every other civilization that has existed before, they all share the same characteristics as whats happening now. :)
To think that you and i got on to all this stuff on a driving test thread lol. :D
