İf u can figure out why ur depressed,try to solve the issue.if its unsolveble like u lost a person u loved etc,there isnt much to do but heal with time.other peoples support will help u alot

If you are depressed there is 1 question you have to do to yourself.
Can you fix it? If yes, fix it. If not, move on. Cant do anything about it. Crying wont solve it. Doing nothing wont solve it. Move on.

I also suffer from depression, and I have some advice. Crying isn't necessarily bad. For me, it helps me calm down because I got all of the sadness out. Also, if you ever have a knife pressed to your neck as you think about killing yourself, tell yourself that its not worth it because, if you have pets or people who truly care about you, they would want you to be with them. Write down what stresses you out and makes you depressed in your own little diary and make goals on how to solve them.

Also try doing something that you like to get your mind off of what makes you sad. Stay strong and work hard through therapy because if you have people who you can relate to in there, it makes therapy so much easier to go through. I'm an introvert, but the other people in my therapy helped me, even if I didn't really talk to them.

@EmilyFairhaven12 exercise really is the best antidepressant for 9 out of 10 cases. Also life can be hard sometimes but it’s always full of ups and downs. After the downs the ups will be coming!

Correction: The ups will sometimes be coming. Not after every down there is an up. That optimistic behavior can make you even more disappointed.

Optimism is good, but blind optimism without considering everything is bad for you. However, I agree that eventually, there should be an up in your life.
