didn't think of it like that.. if I had the power to freeze time for myself I wouldn't use it for immortality tho, what's the point if I can't interact with anyone else cuz they're all frozen?

Then the machines might overload when time comes back on. Not to mention the air would be frozen stiff around you, too. Much better would be time pausing while you “went to sleep” in a dream simulation.
