What is poetry?
Is it not that which somehow resonates within the human spirit and provokes the stirring of the soul ? Is it not that which delves into the complexity of existence and the tragedy of being? Is it not the sublimity of the dark and the subtilty of the light? Is it not that which makes us think and feel and question?
That being said I have to say this is one of the better pieces of actual poetry I have come across in the forums.

I use poetry and songwriting as a means of expressing myself and getting it all out, it's kinda therapeutic in a way. I like to be vulnerable and introspective in my lyrics.
Never really thought much about fame and money.
I am working on a few songs rn and do intend to publish it/put it out there. But the primary reason being , just to showcase my art and talent for people to enjoy,some people might find the lyrics relatable or it might just speak to them telling them they're not alone.
If fame and money were to come with it then sure, I'll take it. But at the same time, that's not the primary focus or the reason or motive with which I write poetry and lyrics.
