I think force is a harsh term. They genuinely believe it. Why wouldn't they tell their children the 'truth'?
I do believe parents should have the right to raise their kids the way they want, even if that means never exposing them to reality, like the existence of gay people, It's a principle for me.
but yes. I guess I struggle with the way religious people raise their children. I think there are wonderful things in it too, i just don't know if the good outweigh the bad.
