There's a very big difference between a misunderstanding and a genuine question followed by a sincere apology and this mess. It's a bit of a fallacy to paint it as some sort of case where both sides deserve respect when it wasn't a debate in the first place and instead people cruelly clowning on someone who's actively grieving.

Asking people to fix their grammar (last I checked, this isn't an English essay submission, and the people criticizing English are the same people who regularly pull the "I'm in ESL" card when they are the ones making all the grammar mistakes), dismissing someone for not thinking straight (very odd thing to say when someone's actively going through it, don't we think?), calling it a "random forum" and "spam" and then trying to turn this into yet another thread about a certain panda hiatus? This shouldn't be normalized as merely another perspective.

I see what you mean. Even if it was on purpose, what country would make you serve jail time for it?? A fine at the most should be punishment for that. Plus, how does he know that they poisoned it? You would have to do a biopsy to confirm that, it could've been anything. Also, the timelines on his post aren't lining up like they should be, there should be more time in-between him saying it was poisoned, and his neighbors in jail.
