A major discovery in Ꝃoramara !
Arsivalov Preskomirevich, scientist in approximate sciences and multi winner of the Loben Prize of approximate sciences, has deduced that 1+1 is equals to 3. His genuinely genius genuine rethoric theory : the plus sign has never been counted as a number, yet it's a symbol. We could therefore suppose that it is actually a letter, and since letters count in mathematics, it's easy to guess that the value of "+" is 1. So, 1+1 can only be equal to 3 or 111.

Approximate science DOES seem to be a popular major, especially among those who attend college for a year and then do something else! Perhaps becoming a professional protestor!
1 + 1 = a lifetime of happiness for the lucky and discerning.

Except it is now 1+1 is same as 1x1 is same as x.
If we count + as a letter.
But you didn't define what set belongs to, so x is undefined.

everyone here is wrong the answer is obviously 174.64, because 1+1=87.32

Admittedly, I was initially rather sceptical about this equation. But, having pondered over it in the company of a cask of my home-brewed moonshine, I'm finding myself in complete and absolute agreement. I have seen the light and shall never unsee it again!
All hail the great Arsivalov Preskomirevich! Eternal glory to the Kingdom of Koramara! Cheers, Nastrovje, Prost, dear fellow comrades!
