What does 2 + 2 make?

@DogyBrown said ^

Why do you guys keep asking this question? Is there a catch? Do they show you a trick abaut this question in high level mathmatics in University? Or is it just a simple addition question?

it’s just a fun thing, like horsey

2...... plus 2........... EQUALS 22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS SO OBVIOUS HOW DOES NOBODY NOTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W H Y W H Y W H Y

Yes, if you put '2' and '2' together, you can indeed get '22', but 2 and '2' are not the same thing—2 is a number, while '2' is a string.

Moreover, even in math, 2 plus 2 will not equal 5, otherwise the number after 3 would be 5—4 would disappear!

Finally, I'll ask you again on behalf of Khrivenil: Given two disjoint sets A = {a, b} and B = {c, d}, take their union to get C. How many elements are in C? If there are 5, what is the fifth element?

it's literally 4

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU CAN YOU NOT DO MATH

Satisfied?

THE CALCULATOR IS WRONG ITS 5

the 5th element is the plus sign. this was proven in komora, as if 1+1=3, then it makes sense to deduce that 2+2=5 if the plus sign is counted as a number.

Except it is now 1+1 is same as 1x1 is same as x.
If we count + as a letter.
But you didn't define what set belongs to, so x is undefined.

The next step in the equation is that, since the + have 1s around, it can only have a value of one.

However, in a more complex case, such as 1+2, the inexact exactly nature of the + is determined by the "maybe it was Pascal's Method", which involves rolling a six sided dice. The idea is to keep rolling the dice until a number that has already appeared appear again.

everyone here is wrong the answer is obviously 174.64, because 1+1=87.32

Looks like human civilization is in serious trouble this time.

2+2 can also equal 0 then
2+(-2)=0

2+2 can also equal 0 then 2+(-2)=0

Bro, that means the answer should be 6
2+2=6
The plus sign and the equals sign should both be taken into consideration.
