Everyone deserves free access to water (where I live, you can go to any restaurant and ask for water and they'll give it to you for free. Of course, you could also use the numerous water fountains that exist just about everywhere.)
Sure, you might be paying for that water with your taxes (nothing is truly free) but to me having access to water on demand would surely be more important to that :)

Because if I choose only a few things to be free - how could I argue that I get them for free, but the people who are producing them or provide their services get nothing for their work, despite they have to pay for things they need?
So there is no way out: everything has to be for free :-)

Somehow, the notion that SOMEBODY ELSE will have to pay for most things that are provided for "free" doesn't seem to be getting well grasped.
