Well I more so referring to military operations yk, you wouldn't want enemies of the state getting information on that. However I personally think that information like how national agencies spy on us, or the corruption of big corporations should be exposed

For some people it is the mission. knowingly the risks of free speech about some subjects or freedom of choice, freedom of information, freedom of open-source in a secure way that they not track, privacy,> list goes on.

You use Siri or Alexa? Well next page you'll open on ya pc for the common people and mostly the kid's is related to what you said. It hear all and it is stored in databases that they sell for profit to Big Corp, Lifebook? It was their fav site for govs, name it...
it is good if you did not do something illegal, but can be abused and also politics and rules change as we see for in the future that data will still remain.

While protecting IoT for the same common from the malicious is the least of their concerns.
They encourage oldies to all go digital, even for the most basic stuff that you really need.

The bad news for them is, a good part of these oldies know very well how to handle the net.

I never use Alexa or Siri for that reason, I do use ChatGPT tho but only to test its abilities.
