my problems is the dems will support isreal pretty much no matter what, are still spineless, and are going to put profit over things that matter to human beings (capitalists)
and yeah mamdanis and aocs are a step in the right direction but they are still politicians and they are still spineless (mamdani getting cucked by netanyahu in his own city and choosing not to arrest him)

I don't think it's unconditional support - Bernie is the most popular resistance figure right now and the consistently has spoken against Israel
I don't think that's a reasonable expectation of a mayor - it would be unprecedented to arrest a foreign leader and UN representative regardless of what they've done and it would destroy him politically even if he thinks it was the right thing to do.

my issue is that mamdani promised something, and never did it. i would NEVER expect better from a politician but mamdani is some sort of liberal wet dream, made out to be a prophet
i cant see a mainstream political party in the us turning on israel. israel is essentially an extension of the united states. plus americans for the most part still hate arabs (as an arab)
again bernie refuses to call the conflict in palestine a genocide...i wouldnt describe him as a resistence fighter

I don't think most americans hate arabs either, clearly they've had no problem electing a good few. Maybe most trump voters though.
