my mom died in her fourties and your teacher is an idiot.

instead of sharing his opinion on why he dislikes some or most of those usually obscene jokes he is trying to guilt you into obeying his wishes, while he cant even speak up for himself. ill correct myself: your teacher is a spineless asshole and a moron.

empathy for someone who went through a loss and your mom jokes are utterly unrelated. trying to intertwine those things by shaming someone and trying to trigger guilt and remorse in him is about the least empathic thing i can think of and imho this hypocrisy deserved to be radically exposed.
