What is your favourite GM?

Favorite games are from Duncan Suttles -- lots of new ideas, Lasker "chess is a struggle", Kavalek whose games showed chess still is filled with mystery, Spassky- concepts in games that involved the whole board, Bronstein- every game was a realization of one interesting idea

Learned a lot from ones whose style had a lot of clarity: Botvinnik, Capablanca, Fischer, Euwe, Geller

Current GMs occasionally have a game that I find interesting. But I have the feeling that most of them are operating from memory at the event horizon of a computer used for prep. I get little from these types of games.

Bill

I feel like the title should have been "Who is your favourite GM?"

Out of all the GM variants, I like Bill Hunter who is a Canadian ice hockey player who is also the general manager and coach.
In all seriousness though, its Ding Liren and there was a GM I beat once in bullet, my first and only GM win I think I have it saved in my bookmarks but I'm too lazy to look.

My favourite GM is most probably Mikhail Tal. Unlike other players who get bored after playing chess since years, he truly loved the game until his last breath.

Vasyl Ivanchuk is probably closest to my heart. His game in Linares '92 against Kasparov always makes me smile. And want to visit Spain.
