On the gleeful subversion of lichess ToS in the Off-Topic section (or: the clousems annual mod rant)

@LeSereinColosse your thoughts on my post? You said "ok", which means you agree with everything I said? In that case, I'd like to know what you're going to do... If you don't agree, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Damn that's rude, that's all I can say...
AFAIK, my points are valid. If a person just refuses to read what I say, I don't think it is of any use to continue the discussion...
I'd apologise if you think I crossed the line at a point, but you just seem to ignore my post.
Making posts and ignoring what other people say, on a forum is a bit weird. I mean isn't that the reason why we post here in the first place? To read what others have to say about your opinions/statements? To correct your opinions/statements/behaviour if you're wrong?

kkk I read all and I appreciate your post. Should frame it on a wall of a museum ngl.
It's pretty clear that you're sarcastic. (If not, I don't think my post is worthy to "be framed on a wall of a museum" anyway".)
- You made a string of posts
- I read your posts
- I expressed my opinion about the string of posts
- You replied, without caring to read my post
- I asked you a question
- You told me that you don't care about my post
- I express another opinion
- You mock me...
AFAIK, I haven't done anything wrong (If i did do something wrong, I apologise; it would be helpful if you point it out)...
You've not read my posts, and when I ask you to read it, you mock me. If you ignore everyone's criticism and blindly keep posting, I think that it is trolling.
I'd still love to hear what opinion you have, if you've actually read my post...

I think we've officially hit the "Please don't feed the troll" point of this thread.
I think we've officially hit the "Please don't feed the troll" point of this thread.
Yet, clearly, I am certainly someone who has favored the idea of "don't like, don't read." But I don't remember complaining that some "fun thread" was being "ruined."
It wasn't directed at you. I was referring to specific people who have repeatedly been bashing others for "ruining the fun" in their threads, yet refusing to keep their own standards for others. People who want others to not read what they don't like shouldn't also decide on some weird double standard that since they don't appreciate certain other topics they get to derail those threads. That's not you; just my observation on the hypocrisy of other accounts that keep on using the "don't like, don't read" excuse while never leading by example.
As for the rest of your response --
I have nothing against fun threads. I frequently participate in them too so it would be odd if I decided to be a party pooper. What I do have a problem with is behavior on some of these accounts here on OTF that very much resembles cyberbullying, and is not treated as such only because the victims they chose tend to take it in stride. For some odd reason, verbal abuse has been repeatedly overlooked. I personally believe age no longer needs consideration the moment someone hides behind it to curse at others while trying to gather immunity for themselves. And on the threads as well -- some of these are just spam and even titled as such. And it becomes a lot harder for other threads to coexist in the same space when spam threads drown everything else out, and certain posters decide to spam in serious threads as well.
I'm not saying that people can't relax once in a while. I have dedicated spam channels with friends as well. But there's a time and place; and particularly considering certain alts coming back lately I do think higher moderation would be better. Accounts should not be able to stalk those they dislike, make sexual jokes with minors repeatedly, constantly go on insulting rampages, etc.
