Great Friend...Take a break... Study Tactics...Study openings like the 1.d4 London 1. d4 Jabova/London 1.d4 Stonewall Attack and the King Indian Attack, the French Defense and Queen Gambit Decline .... These openings have straightforward patterns...With tactics concentrate on Queen and Knight tactics ,pins tactics, fork tactics ,hanging pieces tactics, mates of one/two/three moves and skewer tactics ....play 5 minute and especially 10+0 games...Play each bracket...<1300...<1500...<1700...<2000...then no rating restrictions... Practice daily 10-100 plus tactics daily...play 12 to 100 plus games daily...there shall come a point when your strength shall jump enormously suddenly... Study-Practice-Fix. Study Practice Fix! STUDY PRACTICE FIX!!!
chess is a study for your entire life you have the skill set to get 2000, 2200, and 2400 elo, when you have Knight Tactics completely figured out you shall become a GrandMaster...2500...You do not have know all of opening theory...but it does help to go through all of Modern Chess Openings completely I did once as a child took 4 years and and 40 years later it took me 5 years...Chess is gift that gives joy for a lifetime... @drattitude
