LichessTools breaks the analysis board on Firefox

Hi everyone,

the LichessTools add-on has been breaking the analysis board in Firefox (the engine doesn't work on it) for about a month now... anyone else having this issue?

Thanks

@PebblePaul , are you sure it's not the issue that was raised in the Feedback forum? https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/sf-18-analysis-engines-stopped-working-in-firefox-esr?page=2#6WO83Y0o

When you are saying Firefox, you mean the desktop or the mobile version? What operating system?

Can you tell me what are the steps to reproduce?

Have you tried uninstalling LiChess Tools and installing it again?

It is very similar to that thread in the feedback forum, but it was only happening to me with the Lichess Tools extension on, Firefox 152 desktop, Windows 11. It would happen whenever the engine was on on the analysis board, but uninstalling and reinstalling Lichess Tools seems to have solved the problem.

For some reason I haven't been able to discern, extension update can sometimes corrupt something. Reinstalling and/or clearing the file and images cache usually fixes it. What to do?
