Safari support planned?

Dear LiChess Tools team,

First of all - thank you very much for the wonderful work and tool you have provided to the public - that's most appreciated! I use the tool as of recent and am absolutely thrilled about the extended interactive lessons feature (among others!).
I have a question out of interest:
My student uses an iPad on which as you surely know Safari is the go-to browser. Is there any plan to port the extension to Safari, too? If not, as it's mostly JS-Code, I would consider forking the code and attempting that myself - for private use of course! Do you have a rough feeling how much effort that would be?
Thanks a bunch for your reply and keep up the great work!

Kind regards,
Alp

@alp_arslan92 , me (the team) will never make it work on Safari because the Apple ecosystem is really hostile to extension developers. You need to pay them, you need to go through hoops, you need to have a Mac and you need to change your code to allow for the non-standard way Safari works. I don't own anything Apple, so I cannot do it.

However, if anyone is so in love with both Apple and LiChess Tools and wants to support the extension, they can simply fork my extension, fix the bugs, follow the Apple demands and maintain it. I will even advertise it as an option.

Until then, though, all one can do on iPhone is to use Orion browser from Kagi and on Mac to use another browser like Firefox.

I warn you, though, that maintaining such a large codebase is not easy. You would have to basically come back to me with the various fixes for CSS and Javascript so I can integrate them in the original extension, otherwise you will always have to compare and take my features (which are many and often published) and mix them with your code.
