V2.4.205 published

v2.4.205 comes with the following additions:

  • merge PGN in existing study chapters - this adds a + button in study chapter edit forms where you can paste any PGN. LiChess Tools will then merge and update THE SAME CHAPTER. I tried to make sure there are no issues with this, but for a while it's recommended you export your chapter PGN before using this feature.
  • support for multiple glyphs on the same move - the additional glyphs feature has grown, adding Mate, Book, Miss, Slow and Novelty, which also has to contend with the existing glyphs/annotations from Lichess as well as the Live Annotate feature they just introduced. That is why from this version you get multiple glyphs on the same move. Hopefully it's not going to be jarring. Some flickering is to be expected, especially when using local analysis which repaints the screen every time it updates.
  • disable Live Annotate option - in additional glyphs you have a new option to disable the Lichess auto glyphs annotations in game and board analysis. This is enabled by default because LiChess Tools already did this and better for a long time.
  • Chess.com sound theme - Thanks to Ferodeto, we have a Chess.com sound theme
  • $leaf,$white,$black,| move search - now you can Ctrl-F or use the /s command with tokens starting with $. For now only color and leaf (last move in a branch) are available. I also added a pipe ( | ) feature to search for multiple conditions in either or format. You can search for multiple things at the same time with , but you have to have the right order (like $white$leaf, not $leaf*$white)
  • critical moves chart line - a new line in extended analysis charting will show the critical moments in the branch you are on. It only works with computer evaluation, but uses local eval, server eval and even eval comments (like eval:+1). The line is always positive (above the middle) and the higher it is, the more critical that move was).

Enjoy!
