New RK Variant on Pychess

It's officially called RK1440 (as that's the number of starting positions for RK) and been playable for many years on CVT as well: https://chessvariants.training/Variant960

Unfortunately, that website has no active player base, so you'd have to arrange your matches via Lichess or Discord if you want to play there.

Shield tournaments will be added for the new 960 variants, and probably a monthly.

You can make a seek on the site and hope/wait for someone to accept it, it's very unreliable and few people play, although far from impossible to not play that way if you are willing to wait longer at popular times.

Although I'll admit I don't have enough nerves for that anymore and usually just stick to tournaments :)

@RoyalManiac we use "960" as synonym of 'randomized' to simplify naming of several randomized variants on the site.
Btw can you suggest a good date and time for RK1440 Shield on pychess please?
