I beg your pardon, but I'm a wee bit confused...

In the IAF Charter ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vSNuKwjxuOyIPZE8a7GtTVZ2GU6sEdcluvWHDQWpjcua5QZd6FYg8lLJOtpJlFSZg/pub ) 5.3 is written, that the IAF council is elected for a period of 2 years.

Since the last elections ( https://lichess.org/forum/team-liantichessorg/antichess-federation-elections?page=17 ) are only 3 months ago, I ask myself, why there is a need now for new candidates - the actual period lasts 21 more months, doesn't it?
