Should I report this?

Bro I wanted to create a new website for uncivilized individuals lol let's do it.
Then do it, no problem. And you already have an entire network for uncivilized people, go to the darkweb.

Lichess actually does a great job of moderation in my opinion when it's not a political topic. Politics seems to be a place where Lichess is more likely to just let people say what they want to say. (Honestly, it's not "right", but I don't blame them...off-topic is a huge mess.)

If you look at the discussion in my cheating blog, do you also think that's "politics"? As well as any subsequent drama on Carlsen vs. Niemann, chess.com's policies, and chess websites' authority on cheat detection? My paragraph on the "harassment" quote refers exactly to this.

Oh I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood then. I thought you meant the rant you posted in #4.

What is stalking?

Stalking = pursuing someone online or IRL with threats that creates a nightmare for the victim who feels spied on, this is a form of harassment.

It would be nice if someone from Lichess would respond to some of the concerns raised in this thread.

The report FAQ, https://lichess.org/page/report-faq, does not link to the report page, https://lichess.org/report. And I have never received a communication from Lichess in 2 years that either someone I reported was found to have violated Lichess’s terms by cheating.

I have received good results of reporting comments for moderation during large tournaments.

You seem to be doing well, or I'm just lucky because I don't encounter many issues on Lichess.

In part I think that's because Lichess is simply a smaller site than a certain...competitor, so to say? More participants generally will not DECREASE whatever you will interact with.

From my observations, such discussions are always tricky and it is not just limited to Lichess. Reddit can also be a good example of this, although it's a bit different for Reddit since it has various sub-Reddits, each with its own rules and moderation.

Eh, not so much, Reddit has always has it's own problems with honest (or rather not) moderation and brigading. I would say Lichess is probably better than Reddit overall when it comes to moderation, but mostly it's just policing online chess games. Apples to oranges.

The rant covers both politics and other irrational drama, and Lichess' incompetence at enforcing their own rules. Or even worse, enforcing them on the wrong people.

We've responded to many questions sorry if I missed one. If you could point to it I'll try to answer. I've given up replying to Cedur. Nothing we do will be sufficient for him.
