The TSW Challenge

@Noflaps guess you're memeing and being sarcastic?

(Almost) everyone can easily have a ws10 by picking far lower rated players

But if you care to know, I once had a 17ws in the pool

@Cedur216 , nobody has declared that they did it recently (since the achievement was proposed in this thread). It's harder than it seems. 10 is a lot to win in sequence.

I don't think we even see the availability of games with players that are REALLY far away from our own ratings. I don't, for example, seem to see any games being proposed by those under 1400.

I once played a pub tournament for teams, a drink and a game of chess in every pub and move on. On board 1 of my team I had 18 straight wins but I cannot recall a single move from the last 8 games.

Bronze can be 5
Silver: 10

They can be anything else also

I have a brillant idea : What about giving a free, new glass of Guinness for every won game !

I can barely afford to feed peanuts to the squirrel outside. I'm not going to be giving out free Guinness, you rascal!

I must admit, however, I have respect for Guinness. My unwillingness to furnish it for free is no reflection upon the brew itself -- when consumed in moderation by any adults who happen to be properly suited by law, health, maturity and circumstance to do so.

I would not give it to the squirrel, however. The squirrel expects peanuts and gets impatient when I do not hasten to comply.

STILL no TSW Achievement recorded -- let alone one with Oak Leaf Cluster.

The count up of days has begun.

Sooner or later, there will be a hero.

But remember -- we can check profile histories easily. So faking it ain't making it.

I don't understand the vanity of it, but yes it's in my profile the winning streaks.

Longest Blitz winning streak: 14 games
from 4 Nov 2016, 16:31 to 7 Nov 2016, 21:37

Longest Rapid winning streak: 10 games
from 27 Jul 2021, 11:28 to 1 Aug 2021, 19:42

My Peak Puzzle Streak: 37 puzzles, but Today's Sequential Wins Achievement is at 29, and the puzzle was rated at 1718.

@Noflaps You was part of many of my streaks back when I started playing here more often (Around 2021) . I was "undercover" as an unrated 1500 playing Casual to see if I could score over 95 percent or so ... as my "expectancy" was over this amount which over 5000 games my record was 96 Losses & 48 Draws . So I exceeded my expectancy . It was a self imposed experiment to see how the rating system works interestingly . I think many players avoid Draws & making it difficult to score ... Trying too hard ? Interestingly ! These games were all 5 min casual
