The streak idea can even help enhance fairness and engagement in arena tournaments. How about a dynamic three-tier rating system based on firm, stable and unreliability player styles. The "Saber" players that complete tournaments and participate in Marathons must have a stronger winning streak (TSW) than the other similarly rated players. "Sprinters" are reliable players who always finish tournaments but may not have long winning streaks, excelling in individual matches. So they are not "Saber" players. "Outsiders" frequently start but do not complete tournaments.
Matching players within these three skilled categories ensures balanced competition. The Saber players compete Marathons against others with similar endurance, Sprinters focus on individual wins in tournaments, and Outsides (Players that tend to drop-out or get forfeit from tournaments) would get paired together to avoid skewing results for committed players.
The categories of our skills should not be fixed. Players can move between tiers by improving their tournament completion rate. For example, an Outsider who consistently finishes tournaments can advance to Sprinter level or Saber status. I think this type of system would motivate both skill development and commitment, creating a fairer and more engaging tournament experience.

So far, in this thread I have still seen only references to the past, with all but one of them pretty vague.
Since I began this thread (about two days ago), I've seen NO RECENT (post-thread-starting) claims to have achieved the TSW Achievement that I have been able to actually verify after looking.
Remember -- we can easily check anybody's wins and losses simply by looking at their game record. And so far, since this thread began, I've seen no ten game win streaks. If it has happened, it has not been brought to my attention, apparently.
The achievement must, indeed, be as difficult to achieve as I suspected.
It appears to me that the clock is still running! When will the noble achievement be achieved (since this thread first began -- not years ago). I await the shining moment.

4. FM PeshkaCh ... has a streak of 4's that lasted 78 won games in a row. That is recent, just 4 weeks ago.
Why wait for someone else to post it. There are more if you look around. https://lichess.org/tournament/history
What do you think of the points made in post # 21.

The TSW Achievement did not exist until two days ago. I'm sure many on the planet have achieved 10 wins in a row at some point in history. Indeed, I've done it myself.
But how EASY is it? Not very easy!
And how do we know? In the two days since I proposed the achievement in this thread -- apparently nobody has been able to do it and bring it to our attention. Two days now -- on a big ol' server!
Of course, some of the delay might be due to the fact that not everybody reads in the forum. But many do! And yet ... since the achievement first became proposed (2 days ago) we still await the occurrence and then announcement of the achievement.
How many days will go by? Weeks? Months? An entire presidency? Who knows! We shall only know when somebody does it.
As for the points in 21, I think the Achievement needs to be kept simple.
But that's just my own opinion and of course you are free to differ -- none of this is "official" anyway. I am not a glorious Lichess nabob of substance and weight and do not represent Lichess in any fashion whatsoever, except as a grateful consumer. I am merely a poor spaniel owner who inexplicably likes chess more than he can really justify and always has.

Well, my cheeks must remain undecorated for now, @nadjarostowa -- since -- back when you did that -- the "TSW Achievement" had not yet been invented.
No, the clock started running just today -- when my piano-playing-finger taped the "return" key on this aged laptop, and saw its first mention arrive on the screen.
No, the laptop isn't a Commodore 64. I'm not THAT old, I'm just seasoned. Like a wheel of fine cheese.
not that old he says. I feel you bud

It's best not to feel cheese, @Kelvin306 . Doing so can leave thumbprints!
As some successful commercial writer once wrote: age is just a number; and mine's unlisted.
I'm apparently not even old enough to be a modern president! And, regrettably, I lack the glorious golden-orange mane! (Although I've got plenty of hair -- more than I really need, in fact).

I just played in a tournament and I played my friend, I lost the game but I had a fun time using my knight(or horsey) to fend off his 6 queens. That was fun lol
