Dealing with cheaters

Is there even any position, that cares about cheating requests?
Comparing to Chess.com, it seems like no one cares about cheating reports. For comparison, on Chess.com nearly 10 percent of my outgoing reports, had been proved right- on lichess out of almost 40 cases i get no response whatsoever.

That just means no one cares about giving you feedback. They still care about the report itself.

But AFAIK for cheating, moderating action produce a feedback (a generic automated response that don't specify which user was subjected to action).
So I think that if no feedback is given is because no action was taken.

Not sure anyway mine is just a speculation.

@Ender88

Yes, but the OP was asking about reports in general, not specifically reports that led to a moderation action.

This. But lichess sent me a private message, where they told me some moderator is looking over my reports. I guess they just dont have as many employees like other big chess platforms. So you have to live with a high percentage rate of cheaters and laggy overlays, but at least its free.

You can't deal with cheaters on this platform. Lichess blocks you from reporting them. When you try to submit a report, it asks for a link to the game. When you provide a link to the game, it blocks the report and still tells you that you must provide a link to the game. Essentially, you are not allowed to report anyone because the system is broken and does not acknowledge the links.

They don't have employees really. Everyone who helps is a volunteer.

They do compensate some of their team. Only a few receive enough to survive in a developed economy, but the stipends can help pay bills. See /costs (which I believe is pre Take Take Take).

So you played 332 total games, let's assume you reported your losses, which are about 160, and claim to have reported almost 40 players. That's around 25% of cheating claim.

Clearly you're wrong most of the times. If not all.
