Small Animation Change at the end of the game.

Looks like in the last hour or so they inputted a new animation change with a colored red/green and symbol indicating game end (like if you get flagged, mated, etc.)

I'd prefer going back to nothing but I guess its no big deal.

But on a more realistic note, if you are going to keep this feature, maybe don't go with red/green since that could be an issue for colorblind people.

Also, if you gave it as an option to turn this feature off in the Preferences that'd be great. Cheers

Yeah, please add an option to disable, or at least include it in one of the other options.

Also, from an aesthetic point of view, round icons on a board made-up of squares is kind of a mismatch.

I hope this feature can be disabled to me its just clutter,

I don't consider that feature an improvement either. But I think the symbols can probably be recognized by colour blind people as they are white on a darker background.

I also would like an option to disable it. Been searching for one, but don't see it.

Completely unnecessary feature and not appropriate for chess.

I dislike this change so fucking much I had to come to the forums and talk about.

It's disgusting and makes it look like chess dot com ffs. Why on earth do we need this and can there please at the very least be an option to disable it.

GEE I WOULDN'T KNOW THE GAME'S ENDED otherwise.

An option to disable these new 'animations' ought to be provided to all users immediately. This is the most intrusive and obtuse 'addition' to lichess I have seen since I started playing on this site.

The fact this game-display change was forced on us, without an option to disable.... confidence in taketaketake's benign stewardship of lichess is plummeting.

Annotations were added that obstruct nothing and may help newer players or speed recognition of completion status at a glance.

If this annoys you, configure yourself to not be annoyed.
