I wonder what the punishment (if any) was. If I were a mod, I'd have given at least a 3-week timeout on forum posting. (and if a 2nd violation, a complete nuking of the account.)

i am surprised to see the emojis still there. it’s easy enough to go back and undo them all

(@)Chesslayer12: 'Blaming the moderators for absolutely everything is just stupid.' ~ It is the moderators' duty to enforce their website's rules (and to make new rules when appropriate). If moderators do not want to be called out for doing a bad job, then they should do a good job.

'@shadow1414 is just a goddamn hater atp' ~ If you cannot handle when people state the truth, then you are too immature and weak-minded to be in an internet forum; consider using this: https://lichess.org/page/kid-mode.

Forums are for discussions, which are undermined if one uses sugar coating.

'be grateful that this is a free website with all of these features and stop flaming the moderators' ~ Firstly, this website is paid for by user donations; it is not free. Would it be okay if I gave a hungry person moldy bread for free? Trash is trash, whatever the price is.

Secondly, if you had read the threads that my comment that I linked to links to, then you would (maybe) understand something that is crucial: poorly moderated ---and unmoderated--- forums are dangerous.

Thirdly, there are many not-so-good features: quote, delete, using all reactions on a comment...

Look, I get it: you found something that you love and you hate that people complain about it. It would be great if Lichess was perfect, but it is not. Things will not improve if people do not complain about them. Complaints are as free as Lichess is, so follow your own logic: be grateful.

"It is the moderators' duty to enforce their website's rules (and to make new rules when appropriate). If moderators do not want to be called out for doing a bad job, then they should do a good job."

I see no rule for spamming reactions. Also, for your idea, it would take a lot of time to code and get it approved. It's crazy how forumers get pissed off for almost nothing. Moderators do enforce rules, such as tournament chat, cheaters, inbox messages, sandbaggers, reports, and sometimes forums. You're not the center of everybody's world.

"If you cannot handle when people state the truth, then you are too immature and weak-minded to be in an internet forum; consider using this: https://lichess.org/page/kid-mode."

It's not the truth, it's a goddamn opinion.

"Thirdly, there are many not-so-good features: quote, delete, using all reactions on a comment..."

Personally I like them. Those are your opinions.

"Firstly, this website is paid for by user donations"

It's completely free. There are millions of Lichess players, and so even if you do not donate, others will.

"Would it be okay if I gave a hungry person moldy bread for free? Trash is trash, whatever the price is."

What the actual hell is this example. First of all, a hungry person needs food to live. You have a choice not to be on this website. Second of all, your example shows that your harming someone. Forums are not harmful (unless it turns into a heated argument, where many times moderators do what's right).

"Things will not improve if people do not complain about them. Complaints are as free as Lichess is, so follow your own logic: be grateful."

I agree! You're so smart! Insulting moderators by calling them "incompetent" and other things is completely fine and should be seen as complaints!
