"during Obama's term Russia hadn't invaded Ukraine"
- But Trump I made a deal that Russia could do whatever it wanted in Ukraine in exchange for the USA doing whatever it wanted in Venezuela. Crimea was already invaded in 2014.
Beware that you know who will edit his answer and you'll look foolish.
So for the ones not willing to blind fully believe our cherry picker trying to throw mud at @clousems :

Gimme a break.
Putin's major invasion of Ukraine took place well into Biden's term, not during Trump's. Trump wasn't even president.
And were you in the room when this alleged deal was made? Are you some utterly-in-the-know insider? Does Trump or Putin confide in you?
And do you REALLY think Russia would EVER have gone to war with the U.S. over Venezuela unless Trump (who wasn't even president) talked nice to Putin?
Sorry, this sounds more like an empty talking point based on partisan speculation than real knowledge.

So now we're cherry picking "major invasion of Ukraine" ??! Lol
So now we're cherry picking **"major invasion of Ukraine"** ??! Lol
Please explain how so, @notsoneutral . I have to be frank: your last post is quite difficult to interpret.
Rather than simply repeat something dismissive, can you actually offer an argument?
And please read what @tpr actually wrote: "Crimea was already invaded in 2014."
If we want to argue that the Ukraine invasion started THEN, keep in mind who was THEN president, eh?
It wasn't Trump, friend.
So, I have no idea what "cherry picking" in this context is supposed to mean.

You obviously did not read the Wikipedia Article
In February and March 2014, Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula of Ukraine, occupied it, and then annexed it after an illegitimate referendum.

Thank you for demonstrating @clousems is right when he writes you're cherry picking !

Trump wasn't president in 2014, friend. Obama was. So, Trump was in no position to okay an invasion, even if we decide to say it started then rather than well in Biden term. (which is when Ukraine really got attacked en masse).
I really have no idea what you're getting at. Do you really think that Trump was making deals with Putin during Obama's term, or doing Biden's term? You seem to cling to a dismissive label and hope it's some sort of a rebuttal.
Why not actually explain yourself? How does a war that started before Trump's first term, and didn't really ramp up until well into Joe Biden's term, have ANYTHING to do with Trump?
Just saying "cherry picking" over and over doesn't really explain what you have in mind.

And now you attack my memory? Rather than actually explain yourself, given your apparent reliance on a date (2014) that has NOTHING to do with Trump (he wasn't president then)? Is it helpful to get personal when you could, instead, simply explain what you are talking about?
Post after post that doesn't explain doesn't really advance your point of view.
And I will continue to be polite, regardless. I don't think losing politeness helps to make an argument more persuasive.
