The Department of Defense renamed to Department of War was a bad sign.
Trump I cut a deal with Russia that Russia could do what it wanted in Ukraine and the USA could do what they want in Venezuela.
So Trump I enabled the invasion in Ukraine.

We werent better in the past. Some one was always in war with someone else. The only difference is that you dont have to be within arms reach to end someone.
And no, world peace cannot happen since everyone is fighting for resources, and we have different moral codes. Thats unfortunate. I do also hope we someday reach that world peace, but I just dont see it happening.

"Leave Iran alone...."
That would be easy for the U.S. and others, if Iran didn't struggle so hard to hang onto and keep highly enriching Uranium while also developing very long-range ballistic missiles that can already hit Europe ... for what?
Hanging onto to highly enriched Uranium, quite unnecessary for peaceful power production, is SO important that somebody will go to war over it, and lose an air force and a navy over it?
Why?
I hope not to see any naive or disingenuous responses. But that hope is likely to prove in vain.
Aren't we ACTUALLY against allowing the spread of nuclear weapons? Or is that just talk.
And sometimes "chill" is foolish. This isn't about fashion or music.
And Russia's invasion of Ukraine went forward during BIDEN'S term. Trump couldn't "make deals" during BIDEN'S 4 years in office. So, let's not strain to blame everything bad in the world on Trump. It doesn't help us deal with reality, even if it's popular in some quarters.

Please don't miss what really matters.
Endless Trump bashing doesn't make anybody any safer. Indeed, it just misses the point. Nothing really gets answered if we just try to come up with distracting one-liners that allow us to hang on to our political preconceptions.
America and Europe didn't stop Hitler as quickly as they hoped to do. But I'm still glad they did.
I just wish they hadn't remained "chill" for so long that Hitler, after years of striving, became strong enough to invade and sweep into Paris despite the might of France. It became almost too late to stop him. Sometimes political fashion is dead wrong and dangerous.
By the way, I don't "worship" Trump. But nor do I reflexively trash him. And I do not rely upon personal comments and one-liners when trying to address serious issues.
Russia did, in fact, escalate during BIDEN'S term ... yet some try to blame Trump? Iran has, in fact, been working to develop long-range missiles and has highly enriched Uranium far beyond what is typically used for peaceful power generation. And look who they have funded for years. And how have they treated their own dissidents?
It's not "mental gymnastics" to notice and reflect. To the contrary, it would require "mental gymnastics" to avoid it.
I'm willing to consider facts -- what did I say here that is actually mistaken?

In this current state, is it possible to have one year without any wars or conflicts? Or was it bound to never happen again?
Humanity was living much more peacefully thousands of years ago.
It’s genuinely so depressing that we haven’t had a single year without wars or conflicts in our lifetime.
I hope us and the future generations will.
Too bad peace won't be achieved in forums

Russia invaded during Biden’s term. That’s true, but it doesn’t put Biden at fault for it, since he had no way of knowing. Russia continued to say it had no intention of invading Ukraine even three weeks before it actually did.
But during Trump’s first term, he put a hold on military aid to Ukraine unless Zelenskyy started a phony investigation into Hunter Biden, which would hurt his political opponent. And that, my friends, is how Trump got his first impeachment.

@rajul_s True...
"America and Europe didn't stop Hitler"
- No, the USSR did, at Stalingrad, especially the Siberian troops.
"Iran has, in fact, been working to develop long-range missiles"
- for self defense against Israeli long range ballistic missiles Jericho I, II, II, IV.
"Aren't we ACTUALLY against allowing the spread of nuclear weapons?"
- Iran has no nuclear weapons, has signed the non-proliferation treaty, has signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, and the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had issued a fatwa (religious edict) against nuclear weapons.
Israel and North Korea have nuclear weapons and have not signed the non-proliferation treaty.
"Russia's invasion of Ukraine went forward during BIDEN'S term."
- Such an operation needs planning. It was agreed and then planned during Trump I.
Russia expected and hoped Trump would be re-elected, but went on anyway after Biden won.
