If you believe the Lichess forums were never good, why do you post on them?
losing someone I love, literally like death and figuratively even losing a friend or growing distant for that matter
(@)IamNOTamod: Lichess forums have a clean and fast design; there are the occasional good threads*; I have struggled with finding forums that have an active, 'Off-Topic,' 'General Chat,' or, 'Casual Discussion' sub-forum that is not filled with unarchived, 'What are you doing?' type of threads.

Your worst fear
Pretty obvious if one knows that a mammal body will cause a feeling of fear by regulating the blood co2 level to a higher level.
Suffocating without proper medication and/or technology will therefore be among the absolute worst feelings of fear imaginable.
No chance i will ever use any gear to voluntarily enter non-breathable environments.
idk, nothing scares me much. Might just be my absence of caring for anything...
Maybe nothing scares you much because you're a calm, brave, rational individual, @O_olo_O .
I suspect you will encounter what you will much care for with the passage of time.
I can't help being an optimist, because my optimism has proven pretty dependable, time and again. But I've been to that place where I wondered if things would ever get better. I wish I could have told my much younger self: things tend to work out. Have faith. I wasn't always an optimist.
Perhaps that's why I enjoy getting Rick Rolled. It sets a healthy, optimistic mood. Which is a good, helpful mood to maintain.
