Okay, I used it for a day and there doesn't seem to be any reconnecting messages anymore. Yes, I'm getting higher PING than usual (before: around 160ms, now: around 220ms) but I'm able to play normally now. This does seem to work therefore.

That's wierd. My ping is around 125ms, but yours is around 220ms, and even before your ping was higher than mine is right now. I don't really get it...

And you are not getting reconnecting messages anymore. That is strange because i get some every few minutes. Dude, i just got one.

If you are using the new cloudflare host and you're getting reconnecting messages, please click here https://lichess.org/#debug and then "Send to Lichess"
And could you please describe here in plain english how your game sessions were (in general) before you clicked the link, and how they were after.

Sorry for the pings, but we need your help. In https://lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-beta-testers/frequent-reconnects-seemingly-only-on-lichess#1, I posted two links. If you clicked the first and things got better for you, we ask that you now click the second, use the site normally for a few days, and verify that the default networking is still bad. Please submit diagnostics after doing this via https://lichess.org/#debug and then "Send to Lichess". Do not clear any existing diagnostics before doing so.

Hello, no worries about the ping. I did use the first link last week and have been using the site since without any more reconnects/disconnects during game (it has been working flawlessly!). I can switch back with the second, sure, but do you require me to keep a copy of the current debug info before I switch back with the second link? Or do I just click the second link and send the debug info after another week of reverting back to the previous settings?

Don't clear it unless there's something you don't want me to see in there (sometimes usernames show in the URLs so it can show who you messaged or played, etc.). In that case it's fine to just edit that stuff out and leave the socket timeout lines alone.
Also, only the 100 most recent events are kept in that log so it's mostly self clearing. Diagnostics is just a fancy word for error log. When you reconnect, it stores details about the failed connection. So it does not help us to submit diagnostics until after failures happen.

So I reverted back to the previous settings using the second link, and surprisingly enough, the reconnecting/disconnections issues I used to face before frequently haven't surfaced yet, so I'll probably run this a day or two and see when the failed connections surface again, and will submit the error log then (otherwise there would be nothing in the error log to draw conclusions from, if the original settings don't cause issues now like it used to). All I can feel playing a few bullet games after reverting with the second link, is that I think I'm getting some lag on the clock again when premoving (or could just be confirmation bias on my part having used the settings from the first link for a week now) but no clear "reconnecting" red text at the bottom of the screen like it used to.

I just switched back using the second link and an error log came up. I went ahead and sent it to lichess. Do you want these sent any time we see them, or just when I feel like there is a problem? (I know you want them sent when I switch back in a couple of days, regardless of problems.)
